A label from our estate from the beginning of the 20th century
We have written records showing that the domaine de la chapelle des bois was already in our family in 1820, though we haven’t yet been able to put an exact date on the arrival of our family in Fleurie. Making us (at least) the 7th generation of our family on the estate.

The estate is very often passed down from mother to daughter, giving quite frequent name changes. Opposite is a portrait of Françoise Pondevaux (Chantal COUDERT-APPERT’s great great grandmother).
